The aim of this module is to build on Developing Midwifery Knowledge 2 and 3 and develop your skills as a scholar. You will explore the impact of health inequalities on mothers, babies and families' health and wellbeing. You will investigate the national and global context and consider ethical, political dimensions of maternity care. You will examine the evidence underpinning practice.
