Students come together for Qawwali Night
Students from the University of Bradford came together for a bi-annual celebration of Asian culture known as Qawwali Night.
Qawwali Night, held o May 9, was organised by the University of Bradford Students Union.

Qawwali is a celebration of soulful Sufi music, culture, and spiritual expression, performed by talented vocalists and musicians, as they bring traditional lyrics to life with passion, rhythm, and devotion, through song and poetry.

Anas Iqbal, sabbatical officer and event organiser, said: “We have held Qawwali events for the last five years, twice a year. It’s a night of music and dance and a celebration. It’s a way of saying thank you to everyone and to give all those students who are graduating something to enjoy and remember.”
