We've created a four-week example of a timetable for students studying our MBA Distance Learning or Innovation, Enterprise and Circular Economy MBA. We hope this will give you a better idea of how you can fit studying into your life and work schedule. 

You’ll need to work through weekly units on your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and complete the recommended readings. Our MBA courses last from two to three years.

Week 1

Day Activity Time
Tuesday  Lecture (live online session) 2 hours
Thursday Watch video content and finish follow up reading 2 hours
Friday Apply MBA study to work time (afternoon) 4 hours
Saturday Online library case study research 4 hours

Week 2

Day Activity Time
Monday Reading (before work) 1 hour
Tuesday Reading and notes (while on a train journey) 4 hours
Friday Apply MBA study to work time (afternoon) 4 hours
Sunday Lecture (live online session) and post-lecture peer-to-peer learning 4 hours

 

Week 3

Day Activity Time
Monday 1-2-1 tutorial with tutor (lunchtime) 1 hour
Wednesday Reading and engage on module discussion board (after work) 2 hours
Thursday Case study reading (before work) 1 hour
Friday  Apply MBA study to work time (afternoon) 3 hours
Sunday Lecture (live online session) and reading  5 hours

Week 4

Monday Teams meeting with group to discuss group presentation 2 hours
Tuesday Lecture (live online session) 3 hours
Wednesday Module and multiple choice quiz 1 hour
