The University of Bradford has a prestigious reputation for postgraduate courses in diagnostic radiography. The way the courses are designed to suit the needs of working radiographers and their employers is particularly appealing. My studies have had a significant impact on my professional approach to work, and in advancing my career.
Learning and assessment
Most modules are delivered in the Faculty of Health Studies on block attendance weeks; work based learning modules are supported with directed learning and materials on the virtual learning environment; and MSc dissertations projects are supported by a research supervisor.
Lectures and tutorials are delivered by a range of subject specialists, advanced practitioners, radiologists, physicists and researchers. The University has a PACs suite used in some modules for image interpretation.
Assessment techniques which include one or more of the following approaches:
- Written essay
- A Reflective Case study
- The development of a reflective portfolio
- Completion of practice audit
- Practical examination (OSCE)
- Computer based examination
- Seminar Presentation

- Completion of a Dissertation
